     Founded at the University of Maryland in 1934

Δ Since 1888, more than 238,000 women have shared the experience of being a Tri Delta at the 180 chapters in the U.S. and Canada.

Δ The average size of a Tri Delta chapter is 106 members.

Δ Tri Delta pioneered visitation to chapters in 1905, appointing an officer to visit all chapters in order to expand and improve their leadership capacity.

Δ Tri Delta began regular publication of our quarterly magazine earlier in its existence than any other women's fraternity. The Trident has been published since 1891 and continues to be published on a quarterly basis.

Δ Tri Delta was the first women's fraternity in the National Panhellenic Conference to implement a non-discrimination policy. Delta Delta Delta has never included any discriminatory language in any policies or documents.

Δ Mothers of Tri Delta women may join Tri Psi, the only Greek letter sorority for mothers of fraternity women.
